Finish:
- The LSG “Texas” Edition comes in a raw steel finish that is meant to be oiled with any animal fat, cooking oil, or boiled linseed oil. These oils will protect the pit while maintaining that beautiful patina that is water proof and will not flake or chip as it takes on the finish of a well oiled cast iron skillet. Just like a cast iron skillet your new “Texas” edition pit will need the outside to be periodically re oiled by simply wiping or spraying it on to keep that cast iron look.
